QuickX Builder Inc. is seeking a dedicated General Construction Supervisor to oversee various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing construction operations and coordinating subcontractor activities.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a related role or equivalent experience.
- Work will be conducted in both outdoor and indoor settings.
- Projects may take place in urban and rural areas, as well as at various locations.
- Coordinate the activities of subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
- Evaluate daily operations and implement improvements as necessary.
- Plan and organize daily tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Prepare and submit budget estimates for construction projects.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and volunteers.
- Oversee the hiring and activities of subcontractors.
- Establish and enforce policies and procedures for quality assurance.
- Manage project budgets effectively.
- Develop and implement quality control programs to maintain high standards.
- Must be bondable.
- Fast-paced environment requiring the ability to work under pressure.
- Must be able to meet tight deadlines and manage a large caseload.
- Overtime may be required.
- Demonstrates flexibility and sound judgment.
- Highly organized and a strong team player.
- Exhibits strong values, ethics, and accountability.
