Food Service Supervisor

Boston Pizza Athabasca is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food. The successful candidate will have a strong background in food service management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards, ensuring that our food and service meet the highest expectations.
- Prepare budgets and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our means.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
- Establish work schedules, ensuring that our team is well-organized and productive.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
- 37.5 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime.
- English language proficiency.
