Job Summary

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is a critical role within the Inspiretci team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping and receiving processes. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of logistics procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify Load Capacity and Trailer Authority: Ensure that trailers are loaded to capacity and that trucks have the necessary authority to transport goods.
  • Inventory Management: Verify that the inventory being shipped matches the inventory being produced, and track any discrepancies.
  • Shipping Documentation: Prepare and print shipping labels, manifests, and bills of lading, and ensure that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all shipping and receiving activities are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports to management on shipping and receiving activities, and communicate with the sales team to ensure that inventory levels are up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 3-4 years of general shipping experience, with a strong understanding of logistics procedures and shipping and receiving protocols
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Certifications: Forklift License (preferred)
