Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement human resources policies and programs to support the growth and development of our employees.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on human resources policies, benefit programs, and collective agreements.
  • Plan and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent and build a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Administer employee benefits, employment equity, and other human resources programs to ensure compliance and fairness.
  • Coordinate employee performance and appraisal programs to drive growth and development.
  • Manage training and development strategies to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Research and recommend changes to employee benefits and health and safety practices to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Oversee the preparation of reports to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Oversee payroll administration to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Permanent position with 30 to 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Flexibility, judgement, and reliability.
