Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our team at Biron. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials within our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Prepare and package outgoing shipments for delivery
  • Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate records
  • Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate records and preparing shipping documents

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
  • Valid forklift certification (an asset)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer skills
  • Excellent French language skills (written, spoken) and functional English skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Important Details:

  • Work location: Biron headquarters, 4105, boulevard Matte, Brossard, J4Y 2P4
  • This is a part-time permanent position: 30 hours per week are guaranteed, but the possibility of working up to 37.5 hours per week is available
  • Variable schedule: day shifts and evening shifts
  • You must be available to work on Saturdays on occasion
  • You must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
