Job Summary:

The Parts Person will be responsible for assisting customers in finding necessary parts, providing pricing information, and processing online parts orders. This role entails executing parts inventory duties that support our Parts Business by assisting with warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize a problem-solving approach to address challenges and find effective solutions.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills and build lasting partnerships with customers.
  • Unload, receive, and store incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard.
  • Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches.
  • Recognize substitute parts when necessary, leveraging knowledge of interchangeability to fulfill requirements effectively.
  • Offer support to branch service technicians as needed.
  • Place inventory stock orders.
  • Make inventory and bin adjustments.
  • Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information.
  • Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service skills, both over the phone and in person.
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate peak seasons, including working shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Previous experience in the parts industry is preferred.
  • Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills.
  • Journeyperson Certification is considered an asset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in operating a personal computer and utilizing software such as Excel to input and manage data effectively.
