Job Summary

Baxter Trucking Ltd is seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Manage driver logs and documentation to meet regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other drivers and team members to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
