About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Assistant at Park Plaza Fitness & Rec Centre. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing
    • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment
    • Dust and clean furniture and fixtures
    • Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture
    • Make beds and change sheets in guest rooms and common areas
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance
    • Stock and maintain linen closets and supply rooms
    • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
    • Clean and disinfect elevators and other high-touch areas
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns
    • Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Other Duties
    • Pick up debris and empty trash containers
    • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as needed
    • Clean and maintain changing rooms and showers
    Requirements
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • Experience an asset, but not required
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
    • Availability to work 30-40 hours per week
    Language

English is the primary language spoken in this role.
