The Project Management and Technology Scout Specialist will be integral to our operations, focusing on sourcing and ensuring the quality of production materials for a leading automotive manufacturer.
Your Contribution:
The Purchasing & Supplier Quality division is tasked with acquiring essential materials and maintaining supplier standards, operating with a significant annual procurement volume. Your role will be crucial in driving innovation, quality, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main liaison for the organization, managing interactions with potential collaborators, stakeholders, and project contributors.
- Establish clear project goals aligned with corporate objectives and develop comprehensive project plans. Track project progress and implement necessary adjustments.
- Perform thorough market research to identify and assess current trends in digital and sustainable technologies.
- Encourage a collaborative environment by engaging with both internal teams and external partners.
- Adopt a proactive stance in project management, foreseeing potential obstacles and addressing them proactively.
- Ensure all project objectives and milestones are achieved, delivering exceptional results within set timelines.
- Regularly evaluate progress against goals, utilizing data-driven insights to keep projects aligned.
- Compile detailed reports for management, outlining project status, risks, and outcomes.
- Lead negotiations for partnerships, investments, and collaborative initiatives.
- Finalize agreements that govern collaborative projects.
- Facilitate the integration of new technologies, products, or services from emerging companies into existing frameworks.
Qualifications:
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as Business Engineering, Business Informatics, or a similar field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management, Technology, Business Development, Startups, or Consulting; experience in the automotive sector is advantageous.
- Demonstrated expertise in planning, executing, and overseeing projects within budget and timelines.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
- Exceptional organizational skills and capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- High level of dedication and the ability to work autonomously.
