About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at Dream Pizza & Indian Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of East Indian cuisine, including its history, cultural significance, and culinary techniques.
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
