About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ethnic Food Specialist to join our team at Dream Pizza & Indian Cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the demands of our restaurant.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Kitchen Operations Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
  • Inventory and Record Management: Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure optimal kitchen performance.
  • Culinary Expertise: Develop and maintain culinary expertise in East Indian cuisine to provide unique and authentic dining experiences for our customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a focus on fast-paced kitchen operations.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
