About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychiatrist to join our dynamic Mental Health and Addictions team at the Hawkesbury General Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient care for the brief psychiatric intervention program, including a full spectrum of diagnoses such as mood, anxiety, and psychosis.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to patients.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based psychopharmacologic and psychotherapeutic approaches suitable for outpatient care.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent qualification.
  • Independent practice license from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
