The Clinic:

An innovative mental health clinic that provides comprehensive services for individuals with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Our team of medical and behavioral professionals work together to provide unified treatment for children, adolescents, and adults.

About the Role:

We are seeking a collaborative and patient-focused psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with ADHD, ASD, and other comorbidities such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. The psychiatrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing treatment plans for patients. The role will also involve working with our team to provide sameday treatment plans via our proprietary OneDay evaluation model.

Commitment/Compensation:

The psychiatrist will work one day per week (8-hour shift) with the opportunity to increase hours based on business need. The role will also involve retaining all OHIP billings and receiving $225 per hour for time not covered by OHIP. Additionally, the psychiatrist will have access to internal collaboration meetings, paperwork time, and no-show compensation at OHIP rates. There are no overhead fees taken by the clinic, and administrative support will be provided.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be licensed and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). They will also have a Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) with specialized training in mental health/psychiatry. The candidate must have experience working with adults and be authorized to work with client populations that include adults. Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with multidisciplinary teams are also essential.
