About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at Travis Cairns Desjardins Insurance. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling insurance products to clients and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Insurance Sales: Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft, and other types of insurance to clients.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  • Policy Information: Provide information to clients about group and individual insurance packages, including the range of risk coverage, benefits paid, and other policy features.
  • Claims Monitoring: Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Insurance company, finance and insurance, urban area.
  • Certifications: Provincial or territorial licence, Life Licence Qualification Program (LLQP).
  • Work Conditions: Tight deadlines, attention to detail, sitting, fast-paced environment, work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player.
  • Financial Benefits: Bonus, commission, permanent work term, English language, 37.5 hours per week.
