Food Service Manager

At Royal Cumin Catering and Events, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that they are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, and ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced food service environment, with frequent exposure to noise, heat, and physical activity. The position requires the ability to work effectively in a team environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
