We are seeking a skilled Gas Fuser to join our team at Volker Stevin Contracting in Calgary, AB. As a Gas Fuser, you will be responsible for performing fusions on gas pipe and providing a full installation cycle of gas facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Measure and stake gas lines in the proper locations.
- Ensure all tees are tested, tracer wire installed, and staked correctly.
- Document all deviations from line assignment, changes in fitting location, or requirements for as-built records.
- Complete required pressure testing of ATCO facilities and submit approved test documentation.
- Load, unload, and move construction materials around the worksite.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Minimum 1–2 years of gas fusing experience.
- ATCO Gas Fusion certification preferred.
- Experience with outdoor construction labor and heavy equipment operation.
- Class 5 Driver's License; clean Driver's Abstract.
- Physical ability to repetitively lift and carry at least 40 lbs.
