Meat Cutter

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Biryani Lounge. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting meats to meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
- Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters to create standard cuts of meat
- Trim and prepare meats to meet customer specifications
- Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
- Remove bones from meat and prepare it for cooking
- Weigh meats for sale and ensure accurate pricing
- Cut poultry into parts and prepare it for cooking
- Price meat products and ensure accurate labeling
- Clean and prepare fish and shellfish for sale
- Sell meats to customers and provide excellent customer service
- Cut fish into steaks and fillets and prepare it for cooking
- Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers to ensure high-quality products
- Grind meats to create ground meat products
- Train meat cutters to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties
- Prepare special orders and displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood to create visually appealing products
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Will train on the job
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Ability to work in a team environment
Our Meat Cutter will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to meet the needs of our customers.
LanguageThe primary language spoken in the workplace is English.
HoursThe Meat Cutter will work 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.
