About the Role

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a qualified and experienced teacher-tutor to join our team as a Little Readers Teacher-Tutor. This is a part-time position that requires a commitment to teaching and mentoring students in a fun and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach students aged 3-6 in a group setting, using proprietary materials and methodologies to develop foundational reading skills.
  • Work directly with students, providing individualized attention and support to help them overcome academic challenges.
  • Follow established lesson plans and teaching protocols to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians through regular updates and progress reports.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as education or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
