Job Title: Little Readers Teacher/Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Little Readers Teacher/Tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. This part-time position is perfect for individuals who love working with young learners and are eager to help them develop their foundational reading skills.

About the Role:

As a Little Readers Teacher/Tutor, you will work directly with our younger students, teaching them the essential skills needed to learn and excel in reading. You will use our proprietary materials and methodologies to deliver engaging and interactive lessons, helping students build their confidence and self-esteem.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach up to 5 students at a time at different levels
  • Follow the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum

Work Schedule:

Afternoons, Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings

Salary:

$16 - $20 / hour
