Join Our Team as a Little Readers Teacher/Tutor

Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Little Readers Teacher/Tutor to join our team. As a Little Readers Teacher/Tutor, you will play a vital role in helping young learners develop their reading skills and build a strong foundation for future academic success.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual who is committed to providing high-quality instruction and support to our students. As a Little Readers Teacher/Tutor, you will be responsible for teaching our proprietary reading program to children aged 3-6, using a variety of engaging and interactive methods to promote learning and retention.

Responsibilities
  • Teach up to 5 students at a time, using our proprietary reading program and materials
  • Follow our established methodologies and philosophies to ensure consistency and effectiveness
  • Provide individualized support and feedback to students, as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communication with parents
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and new methodologies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g. education, child development, linguistics)
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in a teaching or tutoring capacity
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple students at once
