Retail Store Supervisor Job Description

O.K. Food Mart Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Authorize the return of merchandise and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
  • Establish work schedules that meet the needs of our customers and our team.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure we have the right products on the shelves at the right time.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales team, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced retail environment.
Working Conditions:
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language required.
