We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director and Controller to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing all financial activities of the hotel, protecting assets, and preparing all financial reports.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and direct the financial activities of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Protect the hotel's assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the hotel's management and ownership.
- Act as a financial advisor to the hotel's management and ownership, providing guidance on financial matters.
- Proven ability to evaluate and understand a variety of economic and financial issues that impact the business, analyze data, and predict future business trends, and develop effective financial plans based on business evaluations.
- Experience in leading and developing people, with strong verbal and written communication skills to address all levels within the organization and ability to obtain consensus and influence others.
- Proven experience with accounting systems or similar financial software for financial reporting, analysis, and presentation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of finance, budgeting, and accounting processes, as well as demonstrated knowledge of project management standards and procedures and GAAP regulations.
- A motivated team with strong accounting, communication, business presentation, and analysis skills. A solid foundation in systems is required.
