CAE is seeking a motivated and talented Simulator Technician Intern to join our team in Moose Jaw

As an intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the world of flight simulation technology. You'll work alongside experienced technicians, learning the ins and outs of simulator maintenance, repair, and operation.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine technical tasks on simulators and associated systems.
  • Receive training in various phases of laboratory, office, plant, or field technical work.
  • Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on simulators.
  • Utilize maintenance management systems to record and track activities.
  • Complete designated training activities.
  • Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks on simulators.
  • Conduct basic visual alignments.
  • Run automatic Qualification Test Guides (QTGs).
  • Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.
  • Learn and comply with CAE's quality management system.
  • Provide customer service support and address customer needs promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform logistics duties, including parts receiving, repair, and testing/validation.
  • Complete administrative tasks as required.
What We're Looking For:
  • Minimum of 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Proficiency in interpreting system prints and schematics.
  • Experience operating test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generator, logic analyzer, etc.).
  • Knowledge of analog and digital theory.
  • Computer literacy (PC and/or computer mainframe/architecture).
  • Proficiency in soldering and circuit board repairs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluency in English.
Preferred Education:

2-year technical degree or 4 years in an electronic, avionic, or technical related field.
