Position Overview:
As a Regulatory Compliance Analyst within the P&E Operational Risk Management Oversight team, you will play a crucial role in executing ongoing monitoring activities, serving as a vital line of defense.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be tasked with managing risk alerts and leveraging your analytical abilities to effectively mitigate the bank's exposure to operational risks.
Your duties will include:
- Conducting continuous due diligence activities for both Personal and Corporate sectors, ensuring robust management of CPRLF risks while adhering to regulatory standards and timelines.
- Performing a variety of analyses and evaluations to furnish pertinent information for informed decision-making.
- Staying updated on the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act (PCMLT) risk indicators and frameworks, alongside FINTRAC's and OSFI's PCMLTF guidelines.
- Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the Personal & Business sector.
Team Dynamics:
As a member of the P&E Operational Risk Management Oversight team, which consists of 7 professionals, you will report directly to the Director. Our team is recognized for its expertise and proactive approach to effective risk management within the bank.
Qualifications:
A solid understanding of regulatory requirements (OSFI, FINTRAC, CRS-FATCA), compliance standards, and banking operations is essential, particularly concerning Corporate (SAE, SME, PE) and Personal banking sectors.
Familiarity with various systems and applications such as ICOP, CRM-Enterprise, SAP-CRM, Hostfront, VSD Portal, Cardpack, View, Actimize, Jira, and Confluence will be advantageous.
