Job Summary

Emco Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Counsel to join our legal team. As a key member of our team, you will provide legal advice on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including leasing, commercial agreements, and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice to Emco's Profit Centres on all legal matters in both French and English.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, leases, policies, and agreements.
  • Monitor, interpret, advise, and train on legislative and regulatory developments.
  • Consult and supervise outside counsel.
  • Align business objectives, programs, and systems with Emco's strategies, policies, and core values.

Requirements

  • Law degree - LLB or JD.
  • Admission to the Bar of the Law Society of Ontario.
  • Strong oral and written proficiency in French.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in corporate and commercial law.
