Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team at Sehmbi Woodcraft 2006 LTD. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing structures made of wood, including stairs, floors, and walls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construction and Installation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to build and install structures.
  • Foundation and Framing: Build foundations, install floor beams, erect walls, and roof systems.
  • Finishing Work: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate wooden structures.
Work Environment
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and working in physically demanding conditions.
  • Work Conditions: Working at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy environments.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry.
  • Tools and Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots and hard hat.
