We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Sidex Construction. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and install building components, including walls, floors, and roofs, in accordance with building codes and regulations.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials to exact specifications, using a variety of tools and equipment.
- Assemble and install fixtures and fittings, such as doors, windows, and cabinets.
- Maintain and repair existing structures, including residential and commercial buildings.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure a smooth and efficient construction process.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for travel to job sites.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent and relevant work experience.
