About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Building Maintenance Technician to join our team at 45006 Yukon Inc. as a permanent full-time employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and other refuse from commercial buildings.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair, and make adjustments to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Work with minimal supervision and use power tools, carpet cleaning machines, and small tractors with lawn and snow removal attachments.
  • Ensure the security and safety of the building and its occupants by performing regular checks and reporting any issues.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a commercial building, such as a hotel, motel, or resort, and will be required to relocate to a rural area if necessary.
