Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Counter Attendant involves providing excellent customer service while managing food preparation and service tasks. This position is essential in ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all customers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Efficiently operate dishwashing equipment to maintain cleanliness of dishes and utensils.
  • Restock condiments and supplies at dining tables and service areas.
  • Maintain accurate records of food inventory usage.
  • Prepare take-out food orders with care and attention to detail.
  • Portion and package food items appropriately.
  • Assist in the preparation and finishing of simple food items.
  • Manage the stocking of refrigerators and salad bars to ensure freshness.
  • Take and process customer orders effectively.
  • Utilize both manual and electrical kitchen appliances for food preparation tasks.
Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with conventional ovens
  • Familiarity with electronic cash registers
  • Knowledge of food dispensing equipment
  • Ability to operate grills
