Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at Labrador Donut Ltd. As a key member of our food preparation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
    • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a seamless customer experience.
    • Keep accurate records of food quantities used to optimize inventory management.
    • Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain a well-stocked and organized kitchen.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders in a friendly and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs to meet customer expectations.
  • Equipment and Machinery Operation
    • Operate conventional ovens, electronic cash registers, food dispensers, and grills to prepare and serve food.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
    • Meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a hot kitchen environment.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Demonstrate a client-focused approach to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Develop efficient interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
    • Exhibit reliability and a strong work ethic to meet the demands of the job.

  • Experience and Education
    • Have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
    • Have a strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
    • Be available to work 80 to 85 hours bi-weekly.
