About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager/Engineer to join our Edmonton Municipal Engineering team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a wide variety of municipal infrastructure projects, including water, wastewater, drainage, and roadway infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage municipal infrastructure projects from planning to completion
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members
  • Collaborate with team members to complete design and project execution for land development and municipal infrastructure projects
  • Actively participate in the design process and provide direction to the design team
  • Liaise with municipal and utility agencies to ensure project compliance
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and scope
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in municipal infrastructure projects
  • Professional Engineer or Technologist designation in Alberta
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset
  • Knowledge of Transportation and Environmental standards and guidelines
  • Experience with sewer, watermain, and road design
  • Familiarity with local planning and approval processes
