Senior Actuarial Advisor

Are you a seasoned actuary looking to leverage your expertise in advanced predictive modeling and analytics to drive business solutions? We're seeking a Senior Actuarial Advisor to join our multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and conduct in-depth analyses on various data sources using advanced statistical methods and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop business solutions that drive value for our clients.
  • Diagnose complex issues and advise on potential solutions, leveraging your expertise in actuarial science and analytics.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in advanced analytics and apply them to your work.
  • Communicate complex analyses and results effectively to various stakeholders, including management.
  • Represent the actuarial department in decision-making committees and meetings.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and reference source for other teams within the organization.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • Minimum of seven years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAS, VBA, and R.
  • Advanced proficiency in English, with knowledge of French required for positions in Quebec.
