Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen personnel.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Service Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales and customer feedback.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food service operations.
    • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in food service management or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent oral communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Work Environment

Shoeless Joes Stockyards is a fast-paced restaurant environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a team environment.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
