Teaching Opportunity at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc.

We are seeking a part-time High School Teacher to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. in Oakville, Ontario. As a High School Teacher, you will work directly with students as an Interactive Coach, teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels.

Responsibilities:
  • Teaching up to 3 students at a time at different levels
  • Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes
  • Completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math and science curriculum, particularly senior math and including, but not limited to, Advanced Functions, algebra, trigonometry and calculus, as well as vectors, physics, chemistry, and biology.
