We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Part-Time High School Teacher - Tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc.
Job Summary:We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Part-Time High School Teacher - Tutor to work with students in a dynamic and supportive learning environment. As a Part-Time High School Teacher - Tutor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in math and science subjects, helping them to build their confidence and achieve academic success.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach and mentor students in math and science subjects, including algebra, trigonometry, calculus, vectors, physics, chemistry, and biology.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities to promote student learning and engagement.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field, such as mathematics, science, or education.
- Teaching certification or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math and science curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
- A competitive hourly rate of $18-$20 per hour.
