We are seeking a part-time High School Teacher to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. in Oakville, ON.

About the Role

This is a part-time position that requires working during after-school and evening hours, as well as some Saturdays. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students succeed in math and science.

Responsibilities
  • Teach math and science to students in grades 9-12
  • Develop and implement lesson plans using Oxford Learning's proprietary methodologies
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Communicate with parents and guardians
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Grades 9-12 math and science curriculum
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills
  • Strong math skills and ability to guide students' understanding
