Project Geologist

Position Overview
The role of the Geologist involves active participation in both surface and underground drilling initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to exploration efforts and the advancement of mining projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in drilling campaigns, both on the surface and underground.
- Support exploration activities and the development of mining operations.
- Conduct drill core evaluations and surface geological mapping.
- Maintain and update geological interpretations.
- Oversee departmental financial matters, including invoices and expenditures.
- Comply with company policies and regulations, particularly those related to health and safety.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- A degree in geology or geological engineering from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of five years of experience within the mining industry.
- Knowledge of the Quebec mining titles management system is a plus.
- Experience with MDM software (Deswick), GED, and ArcGIS is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency is advantageous.
- Must be registered or in the process of registration with the Quebec Order of Geologists or Engineers.
Working Conditions
- Standard work schedule of 40 hours per week, operating on a 4 days on, 3 days off rotation.
- Flexible work environment, combining remote work with on-site presence.
