Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Wibble Wobble Childcare Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our children, promoting their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities that foster creativity, imagination, and learning, including storytelling, singing, and outings to local attractions.
  • Child Support: Encourage children to express themselves through various forms of art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity, while also guiding them in developing essential life skills such as eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress and identify potential learning or behavioral issues, preparing comprehensive reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and community service providers to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certifications and Education: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • Cultural Competency: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees, as well as awareness training for employees to create a welcoming environment for youth and Indigenous workers.
