Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of food service staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Operations: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
  • Team Management: Hire food service staff, establish work schedules, and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers, and refugees.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods. You will work under pressure with tight deadlines and be physically demanding.
