Southbridge Care Homes is actively looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to become a part of our team on a part-time basis. We provide a variety of shifts, including daytime, evening, and overnight options, within a modern and progressive care environment. As an LPN at Southbridge, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding resident care and maintaining the highest standards of nursing excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality resident care in line with established guidelines and medical directives
  • Monitor, document, and communicate vital signs and health changes, implementing necessary health interventions
  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of care to residents
  • Assist in overseeing nursing and personal care personnel
  • Engage in the training and mentoring of new staff members under the guidance of the Director of Care

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario
  • Previous experience in long-term care settings
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
