The Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time tenure stream position in the area of Applied Economics. This appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be named the Munk Chair in Economics for a five-year term, which will be renewable following a favourable review. As a member of the Faculty of Arts & Science, the appointee will contribute to the academic excellence and research initiatives of the Munk School.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and conduct research in the area of Applied Economics
- Contribute to the development of the Munk School's research agenda and academic programs
- Engage in service activities within the Faculty of Arts & Science and the University
Requirements
Applicants must have a PhD in Economics or a related field and a strong record of research and teaching experience. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in Applied Economics and a commitment to excellence in research and teaching.
