Job Opportunity

The Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time tenure stream position in the area of Applied Economics.

This appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2025.

The successful candidate will also be named the Munk Chair in Economics for a five-year term, which will be renewable following a favourable review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and teaching in the area of Applied Economics
  • Develop and maintain a strong research program
  • Contribute to the academic community through service and outreach

Requirements:

  • PhD in Economics or a related field
  • Strong research and teaching record
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
