Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Management: Oversee the strategic and tactical procurement of materials, supplies, and services necessary for our operations. Ensure effective inventory oversight, including accurate costing and reporting. Collaborate with manufacturing and finance teams to maintain precise inventory records and adhere to procurement policies.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier relationships. Ensure compliance with contract terms and facilitate vendor performance evaluations.
  • Tactical Procurement: Execute timely and cost-effective procurement processes. Prepare and manage bids, proposals, and vendor documentation. Resolve discrepancies in vendor invoices and collaborate with suppliers to address issues.
  • Supplier Performance Management: Conduct regular reviews with key suppliers to assess performance against established metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Inventory Optimization: Proactively work to reduce and optimize inventory levels while ensuring availability to meet operational demands.
  • System Expertise: Act as the primary resource for our ERP system, providing support and training to users across the supply chain.
  • Organizational Skills: Maintain a high level of organization and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
  • Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders and partners to enhance collaboration.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate strong knowledge of ERP systems, including inventory control and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in procurement and inventory management.
  • Proven financial analysis skills.
  • Experience managing substantial budgets.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
