Job Overview:

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of food service within our organization. This position requires a strong leader who can manage staff effectively and ensure that high standards of food quality and service are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve work schedules
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed
  • Train team members on their responsibilities, hygiene practices, and safety protocols
  • Calculate necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
  • Recruit and manage food service personnel
  • Ensure compliance with food quality and service standards
  • Prepare financial plans and cost assessments
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
  • Compile and present reports as required
  • Assist in preparing food order summaries for the chef
  • Oversee the arrangement of trays and the distribution of food trolleys
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff
Supervision:
  • Responsible for overseeing 5-10 staff members
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced setting with strict deadlines
