Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, including presentation, taste, and temperature.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to identify areas for improvement.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and waste to management.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, and sales.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Environment
    • Noisy work environment.
    • Exposure to odors, wet/damp conditions, and hot temperatures.
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
    • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
    • Physically demanding work.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
