Catering Supervisor Job Description

At Smart Kitchen Tech Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Develop and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality food and services.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining optimal inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that quality control standards are met, maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost savings.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Food Service Coordination: Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Leadership: Supervise a team of 5-10 people, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure team success.
