About the Role

As a Senior Executive Compensation Consultant at Sun Life, you'll have the opportunity to work with senior leaders to design and implement executive compensation programs that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of executive compensation programs, including incentive design, administration, and communication.
  • Collaborate with senior management and business partners to provide analytical support for executive compensation initiatives.
  • Reinforce Sun Life's compensation philosophy by recommending business solutions that are competitive, equitable, and pay-for-performance oriented.
  • Research and review industry trends, policies, and practices to drive recommendations.
  • Act as a project manager for medium to large compensation-related projects or work streams, managing non-routine and multifaceted projects independently.
Requirements
  • University degree (or equivalent work experience) and 7+ years of Human Resources experience; preferably in executive compensation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in leveraging HR Information Systems to administer compensation programs and extract data for analysis.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consulting skills, incorporating different perspectives, backgrounds, and styles.
