Job Title: Carpenter - Construction Specialist

Orin Landscaping is seeking a skilled Carpenter - Construction Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
Work Environment:

As a Carpenter - Construction Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with heavy equipment.

Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the construction industry
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
