Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food and service standards are met in our restaurants.
Key Responsibilities- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient service and high-quality products
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient operations
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or related role
- Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and initiative
- Dependability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
- Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities
- Permanent position
- English language required
- 32.5 hours per week
