Sales Director

As a Sales Manager, you will lead a team of sales professionals in selling custom packaging solutions to small and medium-sized businesses across various industries. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business goals and objectives, including revenue growth, market expansion, and customer retention.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of 6 sales representatives to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Regularly engage with customers to understand their needs, address any concerns, and identify opportunities for additional sales.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Oversee daily sales activities, including prospecting, lead generation, quoting, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality control teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- 3-5 years of sales leadership experience in a similar role.
- Industry experience is an asset but not a pre-requisite.
- Advanced Excel and CRM skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.

Our client is a division of a large, corrugated packaging company with over 2500 employees. The division was founded in 1959 and currently has 57 employees focused on selling coregulated packaging solutions, including boxes, point-of-purchase displays, retail packaging, and packaging consumables to small and medium-sized businesses across all industries.
